Developing Healthy, Enterprising and Sustainable Communities and Local Economies in Rural Australia
A workshop designed for community builders, civic leaders, local entrepreneurs and community development personnel who want to discover more about the processes and skills involved in building strong and entrepreneurial communities and local economies within rural and remote Australia. Such a learning experience will centre on sharing practical examples, tools and ideas for revitalising communities in challenging times.

“How to engage and excite a new generation of citizenship” – Facilitated by Rhys Williams
Capturing the power and energy of young women and men through meaningful engagement, this thought-provoking workshop will tackle the big questions about cracking one of our biggest community building challenges- how do we tap into the power, energy and skills of our communities’ young people? Workshop participants will explore the benefits of enabling young people to have a ‘seat at the table’, and explore some effective strategies to achieve this. This workshop will also have a strong focus on specific approaches and tools for working within regional and rural Australia.
