Poster Competition

The 2026 SALT Festival poster competition is now open!

 

The SALT Festival Poster Competition is open to artists, designers, photographers, hobbyists and creatives of all mediums.

The artist behind the winning work will be awarded $500 AUD in prize money.

The winning artwork should capture the essence of SALT Festival. It will need to be eye-catching and versatile. The winning design will feature on our poster, website, social media and our program. 

SALT Festival ethos is that Anything is Possible. It’s a time of year where local artists, performers and event makers as well as visiting artists light up the Southern Eyre Peninsula. It’s an exciting time of year where audiences can discover something amazing!
 
  • The selected artwork will pop up all over the EP (and beyond) to promote SALT Festival 2025. 
  • The artists behind the winning design will be awarded $500 in prize money and have their work featured in the program and on the festival poster.

2026 Poster Competition

Entries close midnight, October 14th 2025 Artwork should embody the essence, energy and values of SALT Festival - Art, Creativity, Innovation and Culture. Artwork must be two-dimensional and suitable for digitisation (in collaboration with our graphic designer). Submissions in complete or concept form will be accepted. The chosen artist will have a short time following their selection to finalise the work before digitisation and graphic design (where necessary). Previous submissions can be submitted for the 2026 Festival. Terms and Conditions All submissions remain the property of the artist. Chosen work will be subject to an exclusive use agreement with SALT Festival. Entries must be received by 11:59pm on October 14 2025, ACST. Submissions that do not meet the entry deadline will not be accepted. As part of the use of the chosen artwork, SALT Festival may use part or the entire image for any purpose and in any form or manner in line with the promotional objectives of the festival. Entry forms must provide complete contact information. Incomplete information may cause your entry to be disqualified. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. By submitting you warrant that you own the copyright in the image and/or parts that comprise the image. By submitting your entry to the SALT Festival 2026 Poster Design Competition, you accept all of the terms and conditions outlined here.
