SALT Festival 2026 Program Announcement

SALT Festival 2026 Program Announcement

The SALT team is thrilled to share a diverse and dynamic program celebrating creativity, community and place. The 2026 festival will feature a rich mix of visual arts, music, storytelling and immersive experiences, all designed to showcase local heritage and the vibrant cultural life of the region.

Among the highlights is the return of crowd favourite Swampstock, a much-loved night of local music at Big Swamp Community Centre. Local favourite Charlee Watt will also return with a variety of performances, including a brand-new Rolling Stones rock show.

The Guitar Festival joins SALT in 2026, bringing world-class musicians to Port Lincoln and presenting an extraordinary program of global guitar music. This unique event offers audiences a special opportunity to experience world music and provides a standout opening to the festival.

A powerful new event, Our Place, Our Future, will light up the Port Lincoln foreshore. This collaborative film experience brings together local scientists, filmmakers and musicians in a cross-artform presentation exploring climate change, the algal bloom, and the deep connections between community, culture and the ocean on the Southern Eyre Peninsula. This project is proudly supported by the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal and Country Arts SA.

With more events to be announced soon, be sure to keep that diary clear as SALT Festival arrives April 17-26.

SALT Festival sincerely acknowledges the incredible support of its sponsors and partners, whose commitment helps make the festival possible year after year. Community Bank Port Lincoln has been a long-standing supporter, enabling SALT to bring outstanding artists and experiences to the region. The South Australian Tourism Commission continues to provide invaluable support through marketing and promotion, alongside the ongoing backing of the City of Port Lincoln, Country Arts SA, and The Lang Family Foundation. We would also like to acknowledge the Foundation for Regional Rural Regional Renewal.

SALT Festival also proudly acknowledges its gold sponsors: Dinko Seafood, Lower Eyre Peninsula Council, Sarin Group, Momentum Design, YMCA, Port Lincoln Hotel, Lincoln Self Storage, Kolega Fisheries, and Kemp Real Estate.
